“A devotional was shared from Genesis 6 verse 2 states: “the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.” (NIV) we need to understand the context for us to come to the same conclusion with the verse
There is a myth that the garden of Eden there is a Cherubim that is holding a sword. The Bible says that is holding a sword. The bible says that there is a cherubim is placed east of Eden and there is a flaming sword that guards the way to the tree of life, This is a story that reminded and helped to teach Cain and Abel about how Adam and Eve left Eden. The flaming sword was always a testimony to how their parents had sinned and God had provided a lamb for sacrifice instead of themselves
Genesis 4 verse 1 states “Adam[a] made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain.[b] She said, “With the help of the Lord I have brought forth[c] a man.” Cain is only a ‘’ man ‘’. Then after Cain and Abel grew up they are both given a choice of what to bring as an offering. Then they go to give their offerings. God had specified that offerings had to be given from blood but Cain decided to give best vegetables that he had. God does not accept his offering but accepts Abel’s.
God tells Cain that if He stays angry sin awaits at the door . Cain in his anger slayed Abel. Genesis 4 verse 10”’ The Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.” . The voice of the blood of Abel is heard by God, but what is it that is being heard. states: “Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty”. (NIV) God has the cries of the voices of money which was supposed to be for the reapers. Abel does not become a ghost but his blood is evidence that Cain has sinned . The money that was not paid to the reapers is evidence.
Cain in Genesis 4 verse 16-17“And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.”He goes to Nod and has children in Nod. The answer is in Genesis 5 verse 4 Adam has other sons and daughters. Cain when was staying with Adam and Eve he married his sister. The last question is who are the sons of God? Luke 3 verse 23, 38 . Seth raised a generation that obeyed and followed God’s commands .
So in a world that Hs the Sons of God and the children of Cain let us decide to be the sons of God. ”
